Sustainability is a key strategic objective for us. At our Colt Tokyo Inzai 4 Data Centre, we recognize our duty to minimize our carbon footprint to safeguard the environment.

Our commitment to Sustainability at Tokyo Inzai 4 Data Centre

This site is being developed following our new Global Reference Design (GRD) guidelines, which integrate several low embodied carbon principles:

Installing cooling chillers with low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Minimising water waste during cooling process.

Ensuring systems are compatible with highly efficient liquid cooling.

Avoiding use of lithium batteries as a backup power source.

Building the site structure with minimal steel and concrete.

Improving the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) set up.

Furthermore, our Colt Tokyo Inzai 4 Data Centre will feature landscaped green areas to enhance the data centre's appearance and foster positive biodiversity.

On an international level, we have achieved an “A-” score for our 2023 CDP climate submission and earned a Platinum Rating from EcoVadis, placing our organisation in the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide.
